Big news, big night: The morning (is it?) after
Did he sleep at all last night? He may have tried, long after he and Kate had exhausted themselves with talking and crying and laughing. It's hard to say too, when he first noticed that he was lying awake, watching the light in the room change. (Of course, he'd been told, that there isn't sunlight here, as such, but the facsimile is fine enough.)
The scar in his side tells him he is dead, but in faith, lying here beside his wife, his own Kate, he feels nothing of the sort.
Now, is she sleeping still? He slides closer, and plants a kiss just so on her bare shoulder.

"Thou'rt a wonder," lazily.

"You may continue, as you are inspired."
He belies himself, though, with the attention he pays to smoothing her hair behind her ear.

Speaking of swords . . .
She starts to walk her fingers down his side.

He is a most eager and persistent pupil.

One finger traces over the jut of his hip-bone and down along his thigh, skirting anyplace really interesting.

She leans in to kiss the corner of his mouth and wraps her hand around his thigh, squeezing.

She knows precisely what she's doing; just playing and he's already stirring. He buries his face in the crook of her neck with an approving growl.

Kate chuckles low in her throat and curls around him to nibble at his shoulder. And suck. And nibble a little harder.

Now, of course, he's drawn, and must fight impatience rather than courtesy--and his lady's cruel whims.

Om nom shoulder.
She just wants to leave him a favour to remember her by!
no subject
He laughs and pushes her away--not hard, and not far, but she's certainly welcome to rebut him on both vectors.

Ah, but he can't keep that crooked grin away.

Best to the press the advantage while she has it. She scrambles up and on top of him, straddling his waist and leaning on his wrists.
"As I am a good wife, and half my husband's whole, I do only seek to imitate his lead."

He crooks an eyebrow, and arches his back. "And should not that compel you toward obedience?"
no subject
"Aye, to my whims, if nothing else."
Leaning down, she presses her chest to his, the better to hold him down on the bed and to whisper in his ear.
"Shouldst thou not lead me to obedience by example, then?"
no subject
All the better, of course, to grip her with, as he bucks her off and rolls atop her.
no subject
Somehow "struggling" here involves getting her legs spread wide and gripping his hips.
Whoops!

She can't not touch him. She wraps her arms over his back and smooths her palm over his spine.

That was a good time. Time to revisit it.
She digs her nails into his back and whimpers. "God in heaven, Harry."

Remember when they were being quiet earlier? The opposite of that is happening right now.
